These are the rules for using Waylo on waylo.run and the App Store. Using the app means you’re okay with them. Questions?[email protected].
Not a doctor
Waylo is a walk-and-steps companion, not a medical device. Counts, distance, routes, and goals are for your own curiosity, not diagnosis or treatment. If you’re starting something new and have a health condition, check with a real professional first.
Be safe out there
Follow the road rules. Stay aware of traffic and people around you. Don’t walk (or drive) glued to the screen. You’re responsible for how you use GPS and for keeping yourself and others safe.
Who can use Waylo
You need to be at least 13 (or the minimum age where you live). If you sign in with Apple, you need to be allowed to agree to these Terms.
Accounts
Signing in is optional. If you do, keep that account secure. You can delete it in settings. That clears cloud data as described in thePrivacy Policy. Guest mode only keeps things on your device.
Our stuff
Waylo, Tato, and the branding and software belong to us (or our licensors). Please don’t copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app beyond what the law or the App Store already allows.
Numbers aren’t perfect
Pedometers, GPS, and HealthKit can be messy. We offer Waylo as-is, with no promise of perfect counts or zero downtime. Features may change as we improve things.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not on the hook for indirect or consequential damages from using Waylo, including injuries while walking, or choices you make from the stats. If something goes wrong and we’re liable, it’s capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim, or $0 if you only used the free app.
App Store
If you got Waylo from Apple, Apple’s standard license also applies. Apple isn’t responsible for Waylo support or claims about the app.
Updates to these Terms
We may tweak this page. Keeping using Waylo after a change means you’re okay with the new version. We’ll bump the date at the top when we do.
